John Evan Cellars
John Evan Marion's first professional attempt at winemaking produced a Super-Tuscan-style Sangiovese that caught the attention of a well-known winery in Paso Robles. Would he be interested in a position as winemaker? Hmmm ... I guess that would have been up to his mom and dad, as John Evan was still in high school at the time.

The young winemaker chose to focus on his education, but continued to hone his craft at his family's winery, Big White House, at the end of Greenville Road. Now the Livermore Valley's youngest elite winemaker, John Evan creates masterpiece wines that are sold out at bottling.

Charter members of his wine club, The Enomaniacs, are assured of receiving the four wines that John Evan releases each year, two in June and two in November. Three levels of participation are offered. Enomaniacs also receive invitations to special events and tastings, and share privileges with the Friends of the Big White House wine club.

John Evan Cellars wines are available for tasting at the family winery, Big White House, at the end of Greenville Road. The tasting room walls are covered with original paintings by Laura Marion, whose works are regularly featured on wine bottles.

Wine Varietals: Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Cuvee (Sparkling Wine), Liquid Amber (Late Harvest Viognier), Peche Mignon (Sparkling Wine) Petite Sirah, Roussanne, Sangiovese, Syrah, Viognier
