Established in 2000, BoaVentura de Caires Winery is located on a century old ranch, with breathtaking views of the Livermore Valley. The setting is ideal for gatherings of up to 150 people.
A number of weddings, banquets and company events have taken place in rustic barns and lawn areas, where guests are welcome to play bocce, or perhaps relax with a good book and a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon.
BoaVentura wines are hand crafted from start to finish, with family and friends helping to pick the grapes during harvest season.
The name of the winery, "BoaVentura" means "good venture," which is most appropriate for this successful family endeavor.
The BoaVentura de Caires vineyards and winery reside on a 360-acre ranch that was once owned by one of Livermore's first families of wine—the Concannon family. The owners reside on the property in a century-old farmhouse.
A rustic red barn now hosts wine tastings, weddings, birthday parties, and family gatherings. Wine tasting is available once a month, or arranged by appointment.
