The name Dante Robere refers to longtime friends named Dan and Bob who share a passion for making fine wine. The dream began with a small backyard Zinfandel vineyard in 2007.

The friends had hopes of developing a winery and business that their children could participate in and eventually take over. In 2012, the two friends joined forces and purchased a 6-acre Syrah vineyard in south Livermore.

Dante Robere's signature wine is an estate-grown Syrah crafted from grapes grown in a mature vineyard on Wetmore Avenue. The label also produced small lots of Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Grenache, Mourvedre, Petite Sirah, Sauvignon Blanc, Syrah Rose, Touriga, and Zinfandel.

In its early years, Dante Robere was headquartered at Eagle Ridge Vineyard on Tesla Road, where wine tasting took place in a cozy, antique-filled barn.

In July 2015, Dante Robere Vineyards opened its doors at 1200 Wetmore Road. The winery was built from the ground up, and features a number of tasting rooms and patios. Dante Robere is now a popular choice for parties and small corporate events.


Dante Robere is a perfect spot to relax or have a picnic. Sample a wide variety of handcrafted small lot wines from grapes grown in the Livermore Valley, including estate vineyard Syrah. Other featured wines include Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Rose, Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petite Sirah, and Rhone style blends.
