Rubino Estates Winery is located at 1188 Vineyard Avenue in Pleasanton, California
Rubino Estates Winery
Rubino Estates Winery is sister winery to Ruby Hills Winery. Rubino is an Italian word for ruby, and both wineries celebrate the Italian heritage of the valley's Ruby Hill area.
Rubino Estates Winery is located in the same spot where Ruby Hill Winery once adorned the landscape with its grand, red-brick building.
The original 1887 structure was destroyed in a fire in November 1989, but many bricks and keystones found new life in an architectural replica built on the site.
The roomy and beautifully appointed tasting room provides a comfortable and interesting environment for visitors to mingle and experience a variety of fine Italian style wines.
Wine tasting is available every day of the week at Rubino Estates Winery. The tasting room offers an Italian settlers' old world atmosphere.
Many visitors to the spacious tasting room stroll about the marble floors with a glass of wine, or settle in near the cozy fireplace. Unique gift items are on display throughout the room, and a Deli offers sandwiches and other tasty menu items.
Wine Varietals: Barbera Dessert Wine, Brut, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Moscato, Muscat Canelli, Pinot Grigio, Primitivo, Salute Red Blend, Salute White Blend

Pleasanton (Images of America)
by Mary-Jo Wainwright and the Museum on Main
Pleasanton (CA) (Images of America)
What shines here is the visual storytelling: over 200 black-and-white images evoke pure Americana, from early immigrant settlers to mid-century fairs and the evolution of Main Street's Victorian facades into boutique-lined haunts. Wainwright's concise narratives add context, blending quirky anecdotes (like the railroad's pivotal land deal) with poignant glimpses of daily life.
